Playing Scales in the Skip 1 Down Approach on Guitar

Hello, this is Joe Wiles with the Rock in Rock Conservatory on behalf of Expert Village. We just went up the scale skipping one at a time. Now let's go back down the scale, it looks like this. Start at the highest note of the scale, skip this one and go to the third highest note of the scale. Then go to the second highest note of the scale, skip one and then go the fourth highest note of the scale. In context breaking it up into 2 notes at a time it sounds like this. (playing guitar) This segment, the previous segment give them a thorough run through so you're familiar with the method. In the next segment we are going to setup our metronomes and do a little exercise, I'll see you there.
