Learn About the Tools Needed to Replace Rotting Siding on a Home

Hi, this is Jon on behalf of Expert Village in this video clip I'll be talking about the tools needed for our project. Some of the tools that I used included safety glasses, tape measure for measuring how much material I need, a chalkline for making my straight line to cut away my bad material. I also used a caulking gun to spread caulk all over the seams so that no water could get into my siding. I used a speed bar and a cats claw to help remove nails and to tear off old rotten sidings. I also used pliers, hammer and tinsnips to trim my flashing piece in addition I used my skill saw so that I can make a cut to remove my rotten siding. I also used a chisel and a screwdriver and now that we are finished it looks pretty good.
