How to Size the Replacement Material Needed to Fix a Home's Siding

Hi, this is Jon on behalf of Expert Village in this video clip we'll be sizing our replacement material. Right here we have our replacement material which is cedar, we are going to put our metal flashing around that and our siding will sit right about right here. So what we need to do is we need to plane down our board so that it will sit flush against the wall. Next we need to plane down our material to our correct thickness. (cutting) Now that we have our material sized properly this will sit flushed against the wall and we are ready to prime our board here.
