Hi, this is Jon on behalf of Expert Village in this video clip we'll be cutting out the damaged area. To cut out the damaged area I'm going to be using a skill saw. However, there is a couple of things we need to do first to get ready to cut it out. The first thing that I'm going to do is set the blade so that it only cuts through the damaged siding and not through any of the studs or any insulation anything behind it. Now we also need to make sure that when we are sawing. We don't saw through our cable so we have to make sure and stop this saw and pick it up and move the cable, and move the saw so that we don't cut through it. (sawing) Now any areas that didn't get completely cut through I'm going to come back with a chisel and a hammer and notch that out. Once I made my cut all the way across I'm just going to take a speed bar and pry off any material.
