Questions & AnswersHi, this is Jon on behalf of Expert Village in this video clip we'll be preparing our siding. What we are going to eventually do is make a cut along our siding and remove the damaged portion but first we need to take off any cables that might be on the wall. We also want to remove any gutters that might get in the way and any phone jacks, coax cables or phone cables or any other thing that might get in the way. For our coax cable we are going to pull off the clips just so that we can get that cable away from the wall to make our cut. Next we are going to take a speed bar and pull off that one board. Now with this project since the gutter is so close to the end of the house we are going to try to get away without removing it. Now for our phone junction box we are just going to go ahead and remove those screws that are mounting it to the wall.
