Cleaning an Electric Trimmer

Hi, this is Jon on behalf of Expert Village in this video clip we'll be talking about cleaning and maintenance. Before cleaning or maintaining your trimmer you want to make sure to unplug it. It's recommended that you use a soft cloth with a mild soap and water mixture to wipe down your exterior trimmer. To clean the air intake openings on housing you're going to want to use a stiff bristle brush and brush off any debris. You can also take off a little bit of compressed air and blow off your entire tool just to ride off any excess debris. Now also when cleaning you never want to submerge it in any type of water or liquid and make that you never use gasoline to clean any part of it either. Once finished cleaning and maintaining your trimmer you want to store it and any extension cords indoors in a dry location.
