MIKE LOPEZ: Hi, I'm Mike Lopez with Expert Village and today we'll be discussing Heroscape and its expansion sets. And now we're going to discuss outside wall as it pertains to engagement and adjacentness in Heroscape. Once again, you remember that the outside wall comes from the expansion, Road to the Forgotten Forest. And as we see here, we have Syvarris once again on the inside of the outside wall. Now, currently, there are two characters occupying spaces that are next to his hexagonal tile and these guys are the soldier guy, who is sitting right here, and the dwarf guy who is sitting above him on a raised platform that is actually two up from the base. Now, the soldier guy, who has height of five, is on the outside of the wall on a tile next to the tile that Syvarris is standing on. However, the... MAN: How are you doing? MIKE LOPEZ: Yeah, stupid, stupid. Looks, oops, oops. Ooh, clumsy, all of a sudden. Anyway, are we ready? MAN: Yeah. MIKE LOPEZ: And now, I'm going to discuss outside walls as it pertains to adjacentness and engagement in Heroscape. As you remember, the outside wall comes from the expansion, Road to the Forgotten Forest. And here we have an instance for the outside wall is in between characters that are standing on tiles that are next to each other. Now, here we have Syvarris, who is our little hero guy, standing on this hexagonal tile and then we have a soldier guy standing down here on a tile next to his and a dwarf standing on a tile that is on a raised platform that is two up from the base on the outside of the outside wall. So, again, Syvaris is on the inside of the outside wall, so he will have a little bit of advantage as well as he's getting the height advantage from these two characters. Now, this soldier right here is a height of five but is on the base and this platform here is 1, 2, 3, three up. And three for the wall which means that it is six up and since his height is five and the wall is six up, that means, these two, even though they're on tiles right next to each other, are not engaged and can leave their positions without taking a leave attack and or leave damage. Now, on the other hand, the dwarf guy, who is up -- two up on this platform is also a five and is clearly over the wall because the wall at this point is only four. So, he is currently adjacent to and engaged with Syvarris. So, if he leaves his position or Syvarris leaves his position on the board then they will take a leave attack and or leave damage.
