Restorative Yoga Square Stretch

Gina has been relaxing in an elevated feet up a wall pose and so now we are going to just allow her to open up her hip a little bit and get a nice stretch so she is going to bend her left knee and she is going to cross her left ankle just below or above depending on how you look at it, her right knee. Good. So she is going to take her hand and just press it gently on the outside of that thigh and just press it away towards the wall. She is going to inhale, release just a little bit, and then as she exhales she opens up just a little bit and her thigh as well as she presses her knee towards the wall. Good, inhaling in and exhaling. You want to make sure you don't let your tail bone rise up. So that should feel really good on her hip. It's a really nice stretch, opening up and helping her relieve some of that tension that we store in the hips every day. Good. One more time, inhale in and exhale, press the knee away. Good.
