More Tips on How to Win a Chess Game

So that completes this part of the show. And here we have looked at a number of different things. We've looked at some general tips, general guidelines. We've found out about some chess terms, which seem to come up all the time, and we've discussed the various parts of the game, the three parts, we've seen some end game endings, we've seen some of the middle game and the dangers. And the remaining section, of course, is the openings, which I will show you in my next show. And in the meantime, try and practice some of these things, try keep learning, and try to develop good habits and to think in terms of strategy and tactics and long range planning, rather than simply lashing out and attacking everything that you can see. In other words, try now to start thinking like a chess player. And bear in mind, always, the bigger picture of the game that you're playing in.
