Achilles Tendon Jumping Exercise

Hi! I am Monica. Another exercise I am going to show you for your calf muscles and your Achilles tendon is jumping exercise and while we do this we are going to focus more on staying again on our toes as we are jumping. If you need to be next to a wall or anything you can; something for support. You want to come up on your toes like we are doing here and basically kind of squat down, bend your knees and jump, trying to land on your toes if possible. If you are starting losing balance it is okay, so go ahead and come up and you should land on your toes if possible. So you will start off with just nice little short jumps first and not coming too far off the ground; just nice, nice and easy. Again, you can see that I am landing on my toes. You kind of move around a little bit like up and down, forward and backwards that’s okay. You will have to try and land in the same spot every time. To get better, you can start doing exercises that propel you up more. So on your toes, try and come apart, right like that; come up as far as you can.
