Using the Map in iDVD

Hey everybody! My name is Matt and I'm speaking to you on behalf of Expert Village. If you come down here at the bottom, there's a button here in the middle, the DVD map button. If you click that, that's going to take you to kind of a flow chart of your DVD. Here you can see in the middle I've got my main menu. Then to the right of that, I've got my main movie. To the left here, it says drag content here. What you can do there is you can just drag a movie there that's going to play before it takes you to your menu. That's optional. You can do that if you want, but you don't have to. You can also here on the bottom left, change your flow chart to up and down instead of left and right if you want. You also can zoom in and out of your flow chart as well, but you're going to need to be familiar with this if you're going to be making complicated menus. We're going to be using this DVD map here in the next couple of lessons. You can also click the arrows here to expand and collapse your menus as well. Whenever you're done looking at your DVD flow, you can go down and hit the DVD map button or you can hit the return button again, and it's going to take you back to your main menu.
