Previewing a DVD in Apple iDVD

Hey everybody! My name is Matt and I'm speaking to you on behalf of Expert Village. In the near future, we're going to have want to be able to preview our movies because we're going to be getting into creating menus and submenus and such things. In order to preview your movie, all you have to do is come down here and click the play button. You probably figured this out already, but if you click that, it's going to give you a little preview of exactly what your DVD is going to look like. Over here on the right, you have a little remote control. What you can do here is you can go forward, back, pause, and stop just like you would with a regular remote if it was playing on your TV. Here I've created just a menu really quickly. You've got your movie here. If I click here, it's going to take me to my main movie. It's going to go ahead and play. Like I said, I can pause it and go forward and backwards. I've got the menu button, which takes you back to your main menu. You've got your title, which takes you to your main title. Whenever you're done previewing your movie, you can either come up here and click the X or just click exit button on the remote. That's going to take you back to your preview. That's how you preview your movie, which we're going to need to know how to do, because in the next couple of lessons, we're going to be creating menus.
