Hey everybody! My name is Matt and I'm speaking to you on behalf of Expert Village. When you first start up iDVD, you're going to get a splash screen that looks like this. You're going to want to go up and click create a new project because we're going to be starting a new one from scratch. It's going to give you the create project dialogue here. We're going to need to select a name for our file. I'm just going to name mine my first DVD. I come down here and choose where to save it. I'll just leave it in my documents. Then you're going to need to choose an aspect ratio. You can select standard 4-3 or widescreen 16-9. I'm just going to leave it on standard. That's the standard aspect of your regular standard def televisions and click create. It's going to load up iDVD. If you want to click this little button down here that looks like a little man walking, that's going to stop the music and the animation going on over here. This is your theme on the left. It's a little preview. Over here you've got some other themes on the right and down below you've got some tabs here that you can select different things to do, which we'll get into a little bit later. I've also got a volume slider. That's your main inner face for iDVD and that's how you create a project in iDVD.
