Range of Motion Exercises for Achilles Tendons

Hi! My name is Monica and I am going to show you another exercise you can do for your Achilles tendon. This one is actually a strengthening exercise as well as range of motion. So it starts off with range of motion and you want to be seated in a chair with your feet on the ground and all it is is just a simple up and down motion, so the same up and down motion that we did previously with our leg on a chair or however you want to have it elevated, but this time we are just putting little bit more weight and again just up and down and so this is working in the calf muscles which in term is going to get the Achilles tendon area. Go up as far as you can, down as far as you can and just make sure it is in your pain free range. If you can’t go up all the way you get stuck there, and then just do smaller motion right like this. If you need more pressure you can go ahead and lean in on your knees and that will give you a little more resistance as you are coming up. Again, again nice slow controlled movements, up on your heels as far as you can and bring your toes up as far as you can, right like that.
