The massage that I am going to show you is actually for the muscle belly itself. So the area of the Achilles tendon, you can move up here and you want to warm up your calf, may be just massage that a little bit. You just want to do maybe some light squeezing first. I am just using my thumb and my forefingers; basically just squeezing kind of getting the muscle in here and just doing a little bit of warm-up even jiggling. I’m grabbing your calf, shaking all that muscle all that fat, really kind of loosens up the tissues in there, and what you can do is kind of start poking around, feeling around, and see if you feel any spots that are particularly tender. If you find a spot, you can kind of dig in a little bit, kind of like what we are doing on the Achilles tendon area, just kind of holding a little bit; again, just trying to relax the muscle in general. Grab your fist kind of pressing if you want to get a larger area. So all right up and down this area, right here where your muscle belly is just simple techniques. You can do some strokes and glides up like this. I have just taken my fingers, putting them right next to each other and just kind of coming up like this, so just a couple of simple exercises you can do for your Achilles tendon.
