How to Fly Between Ladders in Heroscape

MIKE LOPEZ: Hi, I'm Mike Lopez with Expert Village and today we'll be discussing Heroscape and its expansion sets. And now we're going to discuss moving from ladder with flying. Once again flying is the ability that negates to rain and or wall movement problems. However, once again, as we see here, this Valkyrie is on the ladder and wants to move over to this tower. Now, you will move, he has a move of five and you move 1, 2, 3, 4, and he's going to move to 5. The reason he would move to 5 and not to the tower itself is because that would cause a cost a move of 6, which it does not have. So, you would move to this ladder which is on 5, on this space, and you would move up on to the ladder as opposed to this space so he can instantly have a height advantage over other creatures that he can attack and it also gives him a better view point for not only attacking but he can use the base of his figure as a point of reference for line of sight because that is a rule for line of sight when attacking from ladders in addition to his normal line of sight. So he gets an extended line of sight and a height advantage bonus for being on this ladder as opposed to just being on the ground.
