Height Advantage of Ladders in Heroscape

MIKE LOPEZ: Hi, I'm Mike Lopez with Expert Village and today we'll be discussing Heroscape and its expansion sets. And now we're going to discuss height advantage on ladders. Now, in Heroscape if you are higher up in the environment then another creature then you have height advantage which is one extra dice. If you are ten levels above the tallest point or the height of this creature, then you would get an extra attacking dice which means you would have two extra attacking dice. Now, here on the ladder, Syvarris is one rung on the ladder but even though he had just one rung on the ladder he gets an extra attack dice because he has a height advantage of one over this creature over here. So when he attacks he will get an extra dice. This also applies if he is up here on the ladder or higher up and once again you will have to count the tiles or the number of height because this tower is actually nine up in order to see if you get an extra attack dice for being ten spaces higher than the height of this creature over here which would give him an attack of five instead of his normal attack of three.
