Battlement Sightlines in Heroscape Expansion Sets

MIKE LOPEZ: Hi, I'm Mike Lopez with Expert Village and today we'll be discussing Heroscape and its expansion sets. And now, we're going to go over line of sight from battlements and using battlement points for their line of sight. Now, targeting using battlement points allows you to adjust the line of sight for attacking. Now, once again, this creature's line of sight goes straight out. So, in theory, he would be looking straight out and would not be able to attack this creature down here. However, since he is in a battlement or standing on a tile with battlements, he can use the battlement points as an adjustment for line of sight in essence looking through the battlement sight and looking down. So, as you would see, from the line of sight, you want to look down through the battlement at this creature and you can see his damageable areas and you can attack this creature. Now, on the other hand, this creature who is down here, his line of sight, once again, even with looking up, cannot see through battlements. So, therefore, this creature cannot attack the creature that is inside the battlements. And, once again, since the height of this creature is not tall enough, that means that they are not in engagement and do not take leave attacks when leaving the tile space.
