MIKE LOPEZ: Hi, I'm Mike Lopez with Expert Village and today we'll be discussing Heroscape and its expansion sets. And now we're going to discuss getting over walls and how you count the spaces for walls. As you see here, we have a big wall fortress battlement right here and we have two creatures that are trying to get into the fortress. Well, this guy in the front has to deal with the front wall by itself and got to remember that every two brick layer is eight tile of movement. so once again, you would count up 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 and then 9 so it would take him nine moves to get up here. Which he can do if he has a move of nine or enough boost of special characteristics to boost him up nine moves so he can get up on top of the wall. Now, if the wall has battlements on top then you will have to deal with both the wall and the battlements. Now, this creature over here who is trying to get into the castle will have to deal with the wall, so once again you will count by the two bricks and you count the two-brick layers on the battlement as well. And since he is on the outside of the battlement he will have to deal with 1, 2, 3 extra movement tile spaces which means it will take in the nine for the wall and then the three for the battlement which means it would take a move of twelve to get this creature from the outside to the inside because of the battlements that are attached to the wall.
