Where Can You Play a Game of Chess?

It has become very easy these days to play chess as often as you want as well as the more traditional methods of playing, playing against a friend or a club or whatever, and also correspondence chess there are now many new ways that you can play. There are some excellent computer programs now, some of them very very strong and you can play at home whenever you want to with those. You can get computers which are actually small chess computer, often hand held, and of course you can take those with you wherever you go and also there is a tremendous amount of chess being played now on the internet and an actual fact if you wanted to you could play chess for 24 hours a day nonstop if you were up to it. While we are on the subject of chess computers you may have heard about Deep Blue which was a program IBM developed and which was tremendously powerful and which in fact was the first computer program to actually defeat a world champion. Gary Kasparov was champion at the time, played a match against Deep Blue and he lost so that gives you some idea how strong these programs are now.
