How to Do the Cut Rope TrickHi, I'm Joe with Expert Village. And I'm going to show you some of the basic items that magicians use. This soft cotton rope is used for the trick restoring cut rope. The magician uses what we call wiffle dust, invisible to the audience, of course. Sprinkle it on the rope, rub it on the knot, and the rope is restored. The secret to this trick is not to cut this loop. But to bring it up and reach through making a new loop, hiding the others with your hands. We cut this loop, not this loop. You can find everything you need for this trick at your local magic shop, or on the internet.
