The Vanishing Card & Basic Card Techniques

Hi, I'm Joe with Expert Village. And I'm going to show you some of the basic items that magicians use. This is an ordinary deck of playing cards. The changing card. The most important apparatus is the magician's hands. The magician will sometimes deal from the top. But sometimes, on the second deal, sometimes a magician will deal from the bottom of the deck, and appear to be dealing from the top. The magician also uses a technique called the false cut. Sometimes, the magician will palm a card and make you think your card's on top. When actually, his is. For this trick, the magician will palm one or more cards. And then when passing that hand over the deck, places them in front of the card, and pretends to take your card, and make it disappear. You can find everything you need for this trick at your local magic shop, or on the internet.
