Hi, this is Mark Kneeskern, on behalf of Expert Village. And in this clip I'm going to show you how to iron your shirts after you have screen printed them. For a surface for ironing, you want a nice hard flat surface that has enough room for you to pile up your shirts and move them to another area for ironing. You'll want to set up your ironing, by placing a towell and maybe a tshirt nice and flat on the surface, and make sure that there aren't any wrinkles in your design. Because you could permanently wrinkle that design. You'll want to use a fairly hot setting for this, like a cotton setting. You don't want to use any steam because you might damage your design or bleed it out. And so just iron it nicely and firmly and make sure that it gets really hot, because this is what sets your ink into the fabric, so that it won't wash out later. You can also write on your shirts with an indullable ink pen, or fabric pen. And iron that also to set it in. And that is how you iron your shirt after screen printing.
