How to Apply Screen Printing Inks to T-Shirts

Hi, this Mark Kneeskern, on behalf of Expert Village. And in this clip I'm going to show you how to apply paint or ink to your screen, for screen printing. Once you've taken your design and placed it onto the back of the screen, you lay that down on your shirt, or whatever fabric you are using. And then you begin to dab paint onto the screen. You can use a variety of colors, or you can use just one color. And keep in mind the color of the shirt will somewhat determine what color you want to use for ink. If its a darker colored shirt, you'll want to use a really dark ink, probably black. If its a lighter colored shirt, you can use all kinds of different colors. You can do stripes, you can do blending, just dot the different colors of paint where you want the colors in your design. Then wipe it across with your squeegee. Yea, and that is how you apply paint to your screen for screen printing.
