Hi my name is Ryder Mackey, and I'm here today with Expert Village, and I'm going to talk to about how to complete a varial flip. Aw what a varial flip is, if your wondering is the same thing as a pop shuvit, and a kick flip, combined into the same trick, so it's going to look like this. And what your going to do is your going to put your back foot on the tail of the skateboard with your back toes hanging off a little bit, and you want your front foot about in the middle, you want your front toes about in the middle of your skateboard, in between the front and back bolts. And you want ah, pop your back foot down on the tail, and kick your front foot out diagonally, out in front of you, off to the side, which will flip your skateboard. Aw your going to see it flipping, and your just going to bend your knees up, wait for it to come around, place your front foot on the front bolts first, then place your back foot on the back bolts, right away. Um another trick to learn with this varial flip is, what you want to do is when you are making the pop shuvit, and the board is spinning in this direction, wait until it gets about halfway around, and then you want to kick you foot off the side to flip it, because the kick flip motion will flip, and finish faster than the pop shuvit motion. So you can land it on time clean with more balance.
