My name's Ryder Mackey, I'm here today with Expert Village, and I'm going to talk to you about the kick flip today. Uh want you want to do is put your front foot at about a 45 degree angle on the skateboard, about an inch behind the front bolts. And your back foot in the same place as you would an ollie. And you want to bend your knees down, you want to snap, jump up, snap down your tail, just as you would an ollie. With your front foot you want to slide it up, but not straight up. You want to slide it diagonally and when it gets to the nose you want to flick your angle really hard, as hard as you can. And out diagonally to the side, and that?s going to spin your skateboard. When your skateboard is spinning in the air you going to have to have your knees tucked up to your chest, and watch for the skateboard grip tape to come around, and as soon as you see it coming down. You want to stomp your feet over it, catch it, land it, and you have a kick flip. In skateboarding its a very useful trick to impress your friends with because once you get it down, you have it down and you don't mess i up very many times. And it also can be very comfortable to take it off of ledges once you've mastered the trick. Impress your friends, aw do it off of stairs, up a ramp. However, you can take this trick to many levels.
