How to Close a Job Interview
Hi, this is Katie Roney on behalf of Expert Village we are discussing how to conduct an interview. Every interview is going to come to a close. This is the time in the interview when you can become a little bit informal. You want to; overtime I'm sure you've developed repoir with the candidate. So at the closing you can just say thank you. You definitely want to think them for their time. Thank you so much for coming in I really appreciate it. It's been great getting to know you. You can even include some informal chat if you will. You know that's funny, I heard you say that you were a fisherman and actually I'm going fishing this weekend. This is the part where you're starting to gather your stuff but shat you really want to do is send them away with a great feeling about you. You want them to walk out of the office saying, we had a great conversation, she wasn't drilling me, and it wasn't awkward at the end, and we left on really good terms so to speak. Always, have a card, you will want them to have your contact information even if you don't want them to have yours hopefully they will pass it someone else they may be a candidate in the future.
