Drawing Lesson: How to Draw a Floating Box

O.k this next part is gonna be the same of what we just did with the shadows but instead of having a regular box sitting on a ground part we're actually gonna lift the box off and show and actually show where the shadows would actually fall if the box were floating. So we're gonna do a floating box in this one in two point perspective so let's get started. Alright just like usual what we've been doing this whole time, start off with your horizon line. Across with both of your vanishing points, your horizon line. Sometimes it's good to just mark em so you know what they're called so if somebody asks what you're doing you're like, "Oh I'm drawing. This is my horizon line and vanishing point". O.k so let's make a box. Let's pick a spot, there we go and start to build your box, just the way you were. Now let's build the back top of the box. And since this is gonna get kind of tricky, you're going to draw all the way through the box and draw all the parts. So let's start with the back wall now. Alright so back wall. Make sure horizon lines all point up and we have the back of the box.
