Hello, my name is Denise Bennett and I'm here on behalf of Expert Village. We're going to chop fairly fine because if you don't the crackers will not stay together. We are making a chocolate cracker. So, I'm going to ground up, chop up, some nuts here, add them to my cacao and put them in the dehydrator. The toughest part is waiting for them to be ready. I guess I should tell you what happened. I was trying to make a kind of crepy thing, that it would wrap and it kept breaking on me and I finally decided like some of the best things on the planet come through mistakes to embrace the whole experience and I found myself eating these chocolate chips like they were going out of style as my mom used to say. I had so much fun with them that I realized I didn't want a chocolate crepe anymore, I wanted chocolate chips. So, that's how this recipe came to be. You want to be careful too that when you go to make the cracker, if the pieces are too big, it will be difficult to get it to come off the wax paper and you will see what I mean in a few, in a few minutes. I am adding the chocolate that I already have. This went through the processor so it's nice and blended instead of in the nib form and I just added it to the cashews. I'm going to be adding agave. Let's add a little cinnamon. This is optional, if you don't like cinnamon, leave it out. I use a lot of goji berries. If it's not your favorite, find something you do like, or you could use another dried fruit. Just be careful though that it's still raw if you're interested in raw food. A lot of dried fruit that you find, I would say that pretty much everything has been heated to high to be considered raw which is about 110 degrees and once you're over that things start to die, enzymes go first, and you really need those. Your body needs those.
