Remove Debris on Pool Vac Ultra

If you come out and find that your little guy isn't moving, well first couple of things that you want to check are A) the pump is on 2) that the hose is connected. But, after that you want to pull him out of the pool and make sure that there's nothing blocking his intake. Now, this is the intake hole right here, this is where all the leaves and debris and dirt disappear from your pool from. It's all channeled through here, but sometimes it will try to pick up something it shouldn't. Something that was too big, like a rock or a well hopefully not a piece of the Marcite but I've seen that happen, and you want to be able to go in there and do that. Hayward's come up with a great way of making that available and it's this screw right here alright. Use a Phillips head screwdriver or I'm using a drill. If you're going to use a drill make sure that you set it on its lightest setting because if you set it as a normal thing like a drill you're going to rip through the plastic. Don't forget that. Alright here we are on its lower setting and, o.k, now you see it came out sometimes it will disassemble and then you'll have to rocker it out because some dirt or debris is in there so just rocker it back and forth. Now again too is that the put a c-clip right here so that you can't lose the screw, that's thinking. All you want to do there is just push anything through that might be in there, take a peek inside, you'll be able to see the turbine spin it with your fingers, take a look through the top make sure you can't see anything there, and then it's clear. All you have to do is reverse the procedure by simply taking the two posts right here, finding their tracks, oh if you did find it had a lot of debris in it make sure that you clean that out. It makes the putting back together a lot easier. There you go, now this is where you get trouble with the chuck you don't want to drill it halfway through the cleaner. There it is. Yep, hear that? Torqued perfectly. And that's double checking for debris in the PoolVac Ultra.
