"Once you do that, the rifle will separate into, as we were talking about, the upper half, which includes the upper receiver and the barrel assembly, and then the lower half which includes the lower receiver and the stock. Set that aside. Now, we're going to be taking the charging handle and bolt carrier assembly out. To do this, you just pull on the charging handle, the bolt carrier and bolt, those are right there. We're going to sit that aside. And we'll get into disassembly of a bolt carrier and bolt later on. This is a charging handle, it drops out of the back as well. And now the rifle is broken down into the basic, this is pretty basic to do some cleaning and that's those are the major components of the AR-15 series of the rifle."
