How to Serve Carved Turkey

My name is Brandon Sarkis on behalf of Expert Village today I'm going to show you how to carve a turkey. Here you see the finished product; up here on the front here you see all the dark meat, that is the two legs and two thighs. The only thing I left on the bone was the legs cause people like to walk around with a cave man and eat those. Over here you see all the white meat which you are going to see is obviously a whole lot more because all of the breast that is on the turkey itself. I also left the skin on that too because that is the tasty part. Then right here this is all the small pieces that we chopped off, the carcass when we were done. It can be a mixture of white and dark meat, this is the part that is really great for making turkey salad or turkey sandwiches. It is also the good part for just making turkey sandwiches in general or if you are doing anything where doing a quick turkey soup. You're actually cooking the turkey broth, this is a good way to kind of short cut it with this, all in all though this is a thirteen pound turkey and I probably got a good nine pounds of meat here. So I'm going to go and eat a lot of turkey sandwiches. Thanks a lot for watching my video and enjoy your turkey, have a good one.
