My name is Brandon Sarkis on behalf of Expert Village. Today I'm going to show you how to carve a turkey. So the next thing we are going to do we are going to get that thigh back over here and I'm going to show you how to separate the drumstick. So you're going to hold it up just like this. Take your knife and gently let the knife find its way through. And you'll see here's the bone joint right there in the middle right there. Take the tip of your knife, stick it in there and give it a little twist. Slice through the skin and you've got yourself one nice beautifully turkey leg. Which brings us to the actually thigh itself. What we're going to do is we're actually going to clean the meat off of this. So what you can do is take a knife and run it right along this bone and see how it exposes the bone? Then take the backside of your knife and push the meat away from the bone. And you want to be aware that right here at the top there is going to be some connective tissue so you want to just slice through that. Pulling off all of the meat that is still stuck on the bone here. If you leave a little bit it's not the end of the world. So now this is all just meat and skin, so we'll transfer this back to our plate. And now we're going to get the other side next, it's just like the other side but reversed.
