Hello, I'm Donna Beth Joy Shapiro on behalf of Expert Village, and today I'm going to show you how to iron a pair of jeans. In this clip, we are going to iron these relaxed fit Levis. Their care tag says to wash them separately and they are going to bleed and dry them in the dryer and then iron them if necessary. So the nice thing about Levis like this is you could wear them for casual or you could very easily turn them into something more formal by starching them. So, we are going to start with the waist band. Generally speaking, the waist band doesn't need to be ironed, but we are going to do it anyway. Just got a little bit of starch there, and the iron (of course) is set on the highest, hottest temperature. I am not going to iron over the Levis tag. Just pointing the nose of the iron in there. Again, if you are short on time, you don't want to iron the waist band. Just let it go. I always like matched sets. I like everything the same, that is why I'm ironing the waist band. Plus, the person who is going to wear these jeans is a fussy sort of guy and he likes to look good. I don't blame him.
