Install the Gearbox for Pool Cleaners

The next step is to put the gear box back in place. This is the gear box here. It's comprised of three pieces: the top part or the indicator; a little tiny bushing; and then the gear box assembly itself. While you can pry this open and it's full of gears, don't, okay? There's no serviceable parts inside of here. One of the ways to test it is to blow on it, if it makes that sound, you're in good shape. If it doesn't move or you can't feel anything, then it's time to replace it. It comes just like this, and putting it back in couldn't be easier. You're simply, with the notch outward, facing back nice and smooth, you're simply just placing it in place, or putting it in place, I should say. Then comes our little tiny nylon bushing, and then, again, this is how it should look, it's not broken. I get the question all the time, and it simply just sits right on top. Now, the gear box is in place and is ready to put in the turbine.
