Hi! I am Carl Shepard with expertvillage.com, here to talk about your beginner’s bass things with your volume here. Basically, this knob here is going to control this pickup, all right. This knob will control this pickup, this is a tone knob, which will control the overall tone of your guitar. So, let us check it out with one knob up, it is kind of bassy tone, okay. Let us check it out with the other knob, it is kind of trebly tone, and now we will check it out with everything jacked up. We get more presence here, so it is going to add a lot of treble to your tone. So all these knobs can give you a lot of variety of tones to your bass sound and it can help you create some kind of tone that you are comfortable with or that you enjoy to listen to.
