Alternate Fingering Exercises for Bass Guitar
Hi! I am Carl Shepard with expertvillage.com talking about beginner bass techniques. Another exercise that you want to try out for alternate fingering is an exercise on the first four frets of each string. First fret, you are going to use your index. Second fret, you are going to use your middle. Third fret, your ring and fourth fret, your pinkie, okay so going up, looks like that, okay and with your right hand make sure you are always using your index and then your middle finger. So the alternate fingering exercise is definitely something that is important as a beginner bass player and something that you want to use often.
