How to Make a Super Star Mobile: Part 2

Hi, I'm Karen, for Expert Village. First we're going to cut out and trace, along the same design, except we're not going to cut it out, in one section. So here, just come down, a little bit, wherever you think you're going to trace the design at, and make a little bigger than a quarter inch line and then going, from the bottom up, about the same distance. You just make about a quarter inch line. This is where you're not going to cut out, then just take your blade and follow the design, the star design, and just cut that out, all the way around. If you start at the top of the line, at this side, you're going to end at the top of our line, on this side. Now, when we cut out the other side, we're going to start at the bottom of the line and end at the bottom of the line. You don't have to be so accurate here, you can cut it out as evenly or unevenly as you want to. I've started at the bottom of the line here so I'm going to start at the bottom of the line here, again. Make sure it cuts out, all the way through, so just loosen that, usually at the corners it's going to stick a bit, just loosen that all the way around, very gently because you don't want to rip the card stock. Now, at the lines, our creasing lines, you just want to take the blunt of the scissor and gently rub along the line, just to help in the creasing and you can pick that up and crease along that line and that makes it pop-up. Again, crease along that line and it sort of twists out. So that's out first. Now, we're going to repeat that, a little bit lower. So you draw, about a quarter inch line, right along our axis line that we drew and we'll do the same thing.
