How to Make a Pop-Up Bell: Part 3

Hi. I'm Karen for Expert Village. We are going to open up very gently because now you have a lot of, a lot of flaps and things going on here. And just open it up very gently so you have the quarter fold and you're going to make one more cut and stopping again. Following the curve and stopping about 1/4 inch from the edge. Now we can open up the whole thing. Look for this side. And where it's folded together here. And open that up. Like that. Very gently. And then you can open it up one more time. Open the full and at this point this. The middle can be folded up to be held on to. And just very gently coax the paper down like so to make a bell, or a bride, or tree. This is a really fun ornament to make and you can decorate your bridal shower with it. Or send it to a special, a special little girl to hang a princess in her room. You could even put birthday wishes here. To make the figure on the top. You can just take a scrap of the paper and cut out the shape. And draw, draw a bride there and you just tape that to that, to the flaps. To attach the string you can, you can just, I like to stick a double, piece of double stick tape in there. Here I'll show you like this. Put a little bit of double stick tape and then you're cord and then squeeze those two papers together. And then that has the so you can hang it up. And then to send that in the mail. You simply fold it up flat. Usually halving is enough. And just give instructions to open a gently and to hang it, hanging up pulling it down very gently. And that's a very easy and fun thing to make.
