Now that our bread is finished baking let's slice off a piece and see how it turned out. Preheat your oven to three hundred and fifty degrees, you also want to make sure that your oven rack is in the center position. Here we have our baked pumpernickel bread. This one a traditional loaf and this one a more of a large roll and we can slice these up. Now let's go ahead and slice off a piece of this and put a little bit of butter or cream cheese on it. Here we have our pumpernickel bread I have gone ahead and sliced off a small piece here. I'm going to put a little butter on that look at that nice, soft, warm. Boy does that taste good!
