Hi, this is Karl James owner of Creolesoul Catering located in Round Rock, TX and I'm Taylor Glover and on behalf of Expert Village we are here to show you a chicken and sausage jambalaya. We've had our dish here simmering for about half an hour and you can see that the rice started to absorb all that liquid stock that we put in. Now we are going to add our shrimp. These are the shrimps that we used earlier, we seasoned those with the same seasoning and we're going to put these in about now. So we just want them to start turning a little pink from the heat so we're going to mix those around, this is our bonus ingredient. So ya we said shrimp well we said chicken and sausage jambalaya, we didn't say we were going to add seafood but we are. We got a real good price on some shrimps though so we add them in there. So we're just gently mixing that in, it's really hot and as soon as we see them to start to turn just a little pink from the heat. We are going to cover this again for about five minutes let those shrimps get pink cook just perfect and we'll see you back at the next step.
