SCOTT DUPONT: Hi, Scott DuPont, we're here with the ABC's of acting: How to get started in the business. I have a DVD that I've produced of the same title and on behalf of Expert Village, we're going to give a brief overview of the different jobs available for kids. So, kids and your parents, hopefully this will give you a little bit of an insight. First of all there's of course, films - both the studio films and independent films depending on where you live in the country near any major metropolitan city. There's, usually, a lot of filming going on and they, from time to time, need kids. There's TV, more so today than ever, there's more TV for kids. If you look at all the different Disney channels now. Several different Nickelodeon and cartoon channel, so great opportunity for kids in the TV market. Commercials, huge market out there for kids with commercials not only nationally but also locally in the many different markets. Whatever product they need, if it - if they have kids, great opportunity for your kid to possibly get cast on one of those commercials. There's also, from time to time, some training or corporate videos where you're interacting with children, maybe an educational video, that type of format. And then, of course, when you've -- you look at the theater after a few school plays, you can sometimes get in to equity theater which pays a little bit of money while you're building up your training. Last but not the least, there's extra work. And what I tell parents, if you're going to have your kid do some extra work, you've gotta drive them anyway, you might as well go along for the ride. Spend it - spend a fun day together plus you're getting a pay cheque as well because a lot of times if they need a parent and the kid even if you're not in to acting, just go with the kid. Get paid. Get a free meal. Have fun. On behalf of Expert Village, we'll be back in just a minute with our next segment.
