This is Lauren on behalf of Expert Village. This is "Chinchillas in Pairs: Part Three". The way that you do it when you do it quickly is called the Smush method. Two chinchillas are placed in an extremely small area, a really small carrier where they're mashed up against each other. They typically can't fight, because they can't back up and go at each other enough that they can actually have a fight that goes on. The idea is that you force them into the same environment, you keep them from being able to fight, and then they kind of put up with each other. A bonding sometimes takes place, though when you let them out again, all of a sudden they are friends. This sometimes works and sometimes doesn't. You need to be extremely careful if you try that approach to it. Stay with us and we are going to talk in the next section about breeding chinchillas.
