Round & Square Face Hairstyle Tips

Hi I am Veronyka Bass of Veronaka's Color Salon and Day Spa and on behalf of Expert Village we are going to learn about hairstyles. There are four shapes of faces, the round, the square, the heart, and the oval. Depending on those shapes you are going to pick a hairstyle that goes accordingly to each person and it changes. You can have combination shapes in one person. That is how you customize each hair shape to each individual. For a square face there is different styles. With that face shape you could do the long hair with the long layers and it also proportions and contours the face. With the long layers and you want your face to look longer you use longer layers. If you use a bob, it kind of shortens it a little with some bangs. For a round face the best style would be uniform layers. It is either long layers or uniform layers throughout the hair shape and it helps the face look a little bit less round and also contours and balances the features of the round face.
