Hi! My name is John Armstrong with expertvillage.com, I’m a professional guitar instructor and today I’ll be going over some of the basic rudiments of playing the lead guitar or soloing. Okay the next thing I like to do sometimes is to combine my pedal tones with a sweep arpeggio pattern, for example starting with that pedal tone with a B-note…and then combining with an F-sharp minor arpeggio…same one now the pedal tone with the A-note combined with the D-major arpeggio…the same pedal tone now starting with a G-note the pedal tone back to the G-note with the C-major arpeggio…and here’s the last one that uses a B-major…put it all together…
