Hi! My name is John Armstrong with expertvillage.com, I’m a professional guitar instructor and today I’ll be going over some of the basic rudiments of playing the lead guitar or soloing. Alright another common soloing tools is the pedal tone, a petal tone is when we come back to a common tone every other note is the same note, for example with this E-minor pedal tone that I’m going to show you we come back to a B-note, the first segment it comes back to a B-note every other note. There's my B-note…for the next segment we come back to an A-note…the next segment a G-note…and then we just walk ourselves back up into licks and you repeat it…according to an E-minor scale, so here it is…
