Hi! My name is John Armstrong with expertvillage.com, I’m a professional guitar instructor and today I’ll be going over some of the basic rudiments of playing the lead guitar or soloing. Now here’s a diminished arpeggio, sweep arpeggio pattern like, we do is we take the same pattern and move it up the neck of the guitar, for example this is E diminished arpeggio pattern…and as you can see here I have G, E, C sharp or D double flat or D flat with a B-flat, the same note but starting and ending on the B-flat, the same note but starting and ending on the D-flat, the same note but starting and ending on the E-note, the same note starting and ending on the G-note, the same note starting and ending on B-flat again and like to end on that 21st fret there. So it’s the same pattern, moved up…
