Fodder Launch Black Card in Magic the Gathering

MIKE LOPEZ: Hi. I'm Mike Lopez with Expert Village, and today we're going to be discussing the black color from "Magic: The Gathering". And now I'm going to go over Fodder Launch. Fodder Launch is one of the new cards. It's a tribal sorcery goblin. Once again, this counts as a sorcery which means it can only be played during your first main phase and/or your second main phase but it also counts as a goblin which means it gets bonuses or anything that bonuses goblins that you control. It's an uncommon out of your Lorwyn expansion, costs you roughly 40 or 50 cents per card or you can get them in booster packs at your local gaming store. Fodder launch cost you 3 and a black to play, converted mana cost of 4. As an additional cost to play Fodder Launch, sacrifice a goblin. Once again, you would play this card in a heavy goblin deck. Now, you sacrifice a goblin and what this card does it that the target creature gets -5/-5 until end of turn and Fodder Launch deals 5 damage to that creature's controller. Once again, you -5/-5 a creature and you will also deal 5 damage directly to an opponent, which again, this makes it very powerful because not only can you get rid of a creature this way, you will also deal 5 damage directly to your opponent.
