Using Lavender Aromatherapy Oil to Relieve Headaches

Hi! I am Nili Nathan I have a website and TV show called Great Healing Getaways where I write, research and host on Holistic Health from around the world. Today we are talking about aromatherapy and how you can make some products right in your own home. Lavender oil is a very popular one and what I would like to do is show you how you can make a little lavender formula to help you relieve headaches that you could try at home. So the first thing you want to do is select your carrier oil; that is the oil that you are going to dilute the lavender essential oil into. So we will use one teaspoon of sweet almond oil as our carrier oil and I will start off with two drops of lavender essential oil to start off with. You can always add more but ooh, I smell it already. It is very strong and it has a very calming effect. Lavender is good to use when you are feeling stressed, anxious or overworked. You want to just take you know what you can use your finger on this because you have blended it. I do not recommend using it neat which is single, which is just alone until you are a little bit more advanced with aromatherapy. So always use it little blended. Shake a little drop like that and put it right on your pulse points like your temples. Start up with a little you can always add more as you go and you can do this once an hour a few times a day and see how you feel that will help you feel more relaxed and ease your headache.
