MIKE LOPEZ: Hi. I'm Mike Lopez with Expert Village, and today we're going to be discussing the black color from "Magic: The Gathering". And now we're going to discuss "Dusk Imp". Dusk Imp is another powerful card out of the black color. This is in the basic black, 10th edition. As we see here, is a creature "Imp," which means he gets benefits for all things that benefit Imps, and it's 2 and a black to play, so you're playing Dusk Imp for 2 and a black, which has a converted mana of cost of 3. You're going to get a 2/1 for this cost, which is almost even mana production; however, as you see here, creature is going to have an ability, his ability is flying. And once again, flying is a very powerful ability because this creature can only be blocked by creatures with flying and or creatures with reach, which means that you now have a 2/1 instead of a 1/1 flyer, which means this card can do twice as much damage as those other cards, and it has flying, which a lot of decks are not built to defend against flying creatures. This is a very powerful card.
